The purpose of Line Impedance Stabilization Network (LISN) is to provide a defined impedance over the specified frequency range between each of the power terminals and ground of the device under test (DUT) and also to isolate the test circuit from unwanted radio frequency signals from the public power network.

GW instek presents the GLN-162 Line Impedance Stabilization Network (LISN) , which is specialized two line low pass
filter network used to measure common mode conducted emissions from power lines.
It provides stable and consistent line impedance at the frequencies where radio interference measurements are made.

The majority of conducted emission measurements of GLN-162 are carried out from 100kHz to 30MHz. This insures that electronic device do not interfere with VLF , HF radio communication systems as well as other electronic equipment operating at this frequencies. Besides , GLN-162 provides 16Amp continuous current rating to power device under test.
